Process Simulate Connector Setup


In this article, you'll learn how to download, install, and set up the Process Simulate connector on Resolver.

Download the Connector & Demo Cell

Step 1: Log in to Resolver using your credentials.

Step 2: From the left-hand menu, select the Download tab.

Step 3: Look for the Process Simulate section. This is where you'll find the available connector versions.

Step 4: Select the version you want to download. The latest version is selected by default, but you're free to choose an earlier version.

Step 5: Click on the Download/Default button to start the download process. The download will start as a zip file and save to your default download folder.

You'll also see an example of RTR Demo Cell listed, which you're free to download for testing or training purposes.

Installation

Step 1: Close Process Simulate before proceeding with the installation.

Step 2: Extract the zip file and run the installer named RTR PS-Connectors setup exe.

For best results, right-click and run as an administrator.

Step 3: Choose whether to install for all users or just the current user based on your setup.

Step 4: Review and accept the license agreement, and click Next.

Step 5: Choose the destination folder and click to begin the installation.

After installation, you'll see an option to allow Real Time Robotics to collect diagnostic data. We recommend enabling this to help us support you better.

Step 6: Click Finish to complete the installation.

Set-up Resolver in PS

Step 1: Open Process Simulate to configure the connector.

Step 2: Go to the Customize Ribbon section.

Step 3: Under the Robots tab, add a new group called Real Time Robotics or RTR.

Step 4: Click New Group and name it RTR or Realtime Robotics.

Step 5: On the left, search for RTR Resolver and add it to the group you just created, and click OK.

Now, your RTR connector is ready for use.

You're now able to export the project login to the resolver as well as import the results from the resolver.
