Process Simulate Troubleshooting

This section provides detailed guidance for diagnosing and resolving errors that occur during Resolver import/export when using Siemens Process Simulate.

Errors are grouped by type and each has its own dedicated page, allowing users to quickly identify the cause and required corrective actions.

If you encounter an error in the Resolver dialog, use the "Resolver documentation for detailed guidance" link to jump directly to the relevant page in this section. In PS Connector 1.28.0 and later, use the Documentation link next to the message in the Messages panel.

How to use this section​

  1. Run import/export in Resolver.

  2. When an error message appears, identify the error title.

  3. Click “Resolver documentation for detailed guidance” in the popup, or select it from the lists above. In PS Connector 1.28.0 and later, warnings and errors collect in the Messages panel at the bottom of the Export tab instead of separate popups. Click Documentation next to a message to open its page.

  4. Follow the recommended corrective actions described in the error page.

  5. Re-run the export after applying changes.

Additional notes​

  • Only blocking errors prevent the export — warnings may be safely ignored in some scenarios, but each error page explains when this is appropriate.
  • If an error is unclear or persists after corrections, contact support and attach:
    • a screenshot of the Resolver error popup, or of the Messages panel in PS Connector 1.28.0 and later,
    • your Process Simulate .pszx,
    • the exported logs.
  • Send the report from Resolver with Report Feedback to Support, which can upload your project and study data with it, and include the Study ID.
