Invalid collision set

Platform: Process Simulate

Process Simulate objects marked as blanked are not written into the Resolver export. If an active collision set lists only blanked nodes, its rules reference no bodies in the exported scene graph—an inconsistent collision-set definition—so export is blocked until the set includes at least one exported, non-blanked participant.

Dialog shown in Resolver

Collision sets: ({collisionSetNames}) Can't contain only blanked objects

What you can do in this dialog

  • Can you continue export? No
  • Buttons in the popup: OK
  • What happens next: The export does not continue until the issue is fixed.
  • Next step: How to fix it

How to fix it

  1. In Process Simulate, open Collision Sets (Home → Collision or Tools → Collision, depending on version) and select each set named in the Resolver dialog under Collision sets:.

  2. For each of those sets, un-blank or add members until at least one non-blanked object or robot is in the set (so membership is not exclusively blanked).

  3. Save the study and re-export.
