Hidden robot selected

Platform: Process Simulate

One or more robots referenced by the operations you selected are blanked in the scene. From PS Connector 1.27.1, the Connector stops the export rather than sending those operations to Resolver.

Dialog shown in Resolver

Robot: {robotName}is hidden and used in: {operationName1}{operationName2}

What you can do in this dialog

  • Can you continue export? No, on PS Connector 1.27.1 and later.
  • What happens next: The export stops. Fix the visibility of the robot the message names, or change which operations you selected, then export again.
  • Next step: How to fix it

Why the export stops

A blanked robot's operations used to export successfully, but they arrived in Resolver in a state the web UI could not work with, which left you to discover the problem in the cloud rather than in Process Simulate. Stopping at export keeps the broken study from being created at all.

How to fix it

  1. In Process Simulate, display the robot named in the dialog, through layout visibility or the object tree.
  2. Confirm the listed operations are the ones you intend to export. If you did not mean to plan that robot, remove its operation from the export selection in the RTR Resolver Viewer instead of displaying it.
  3. Export again.

On PS Connector 1.26.0 and earlier

The same situation raised a warning with OK and Cancel rather than stopping. Choosing OK exported the blanked robot along with its operations, and the resulting study could not be configured in the Resolver web UI. Upgrade to PS Connector 1.27.1 or later, or display the robot before exporting.

  • Exporting Study — what visibility controls at export time.
  • Mounted tool hidden — a hidden external joint on a robot, which is still a warning you can continue past.
